Description

Logos Technologies seeks an experienced engineer, IT professional, or technically-minded Intelligence analyst to serve as a Forward Service Representative (FSR) on a rapid-reaction sensor fielding.  WAMI FSRs support site equipment, exploitation/processing hardware, and assist with imagery intelligence.  FSRs will interface frequently with the operations teams and customer organizations, working with battlefield commanders to best configure assets and maintain systems.  In addition, FSRs will work on a nearly daily basis with the CONUS-based development and operations team, discussing topics from troubleshooting failed subsystems to recommending and developing system hardening plans and architecture.  This position is considered a Virginia-based position until OCONUS deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, operate, and maintain surveillance equipment (computers and sensors) in support of high-priority, geographically-dispersed sensor teams
  • Serve as in-theater Subject Matter Expert (SME) for government customers, with the occasional need to attend meetings and brief senior military
  • Communicate effectively with CONUS-based development and support teams
  • Aid in preparation of reports and briefs summarizing system readiness, failure conditions, and maintenance requirements

Qualifications

  • Strong execution skills, problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate independently in challenging environments
  • Technical experience in at least three of the following disciplines: hardware maintenance & configuration, computer network management, software version control, Linux troubleshooting & scripts, image processing, and unmanned sensor maintenance
  • Experience supporting forward deployed technical assets
  • Ability to complete all DoD CRC deployment requirements, to include medical requirements
  • Must have experience interfacing diplomatically with the DoD or similar government agencies
  • Must possess a mission-focus and a passion for contributing to overseas contingency operations
  • US Citizenship and active Secret security clearance required

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience using geographic information software, such as ESRI’s ArcGIS®, RaptorX, Novetta’s Ageon®, or similar software
  • CompTIA A+ certificate, or equivalent knowledge set
  • Overseas deployment experience in challenging environments
  • Familiarity with Wide Area Motion Imagery (WAMI) and/or Imagery Analysis
