    We have an immediate need for an IT Helpdesk Technician for our corporate headquarters.


    The Helpdesk Technician’s role is to ensure proper computer operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests.  The responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: procuring, deploying, and maintaining computer equipment, triaging incoming helpdesk requests, resolving issues, and providing resources to end-users.  Associated responsibilities include:


    • Installation, configuration and ongoing usability of computers, peripheral equipment and software
    • Maintain computer hardware including monitors, keyboard and printers
    • Receive, examine and process requisitions for the IT department, preparing documents for purchasing and verifying order status
    • Coordinate with vendors and employee exchanges, returns and claims
    • Compare costs and evaluate the quality and suitability of supplies, materials and equipment
    • Track and maintain IT inventory to include, hardware, software, services, and warranty  
    • Provide inventory reports to IT managers
    • Track and maintain leases on equipment, keeping up to date reports of lease information  
    • Coordinate disposal of equipment



    • At least two year technical degree in the field of computer science or two years equivalent work experience
    • Ability to travel to other office locations
    • Must be available during normal business hours; weeknights and weekends as needed
    • Knowledge of basic computer skills, including in troubleshooting hardware, software, operating systems and printers
    • Experience with installing and supporting desktop and server operating systems, including Windows and Mac OS
    • Experience with supporting mobile devices, MS Office products, telephones (VOIP), printers, conference room equipment
    • Problem-solving skills and ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues
    • Good written and verbal communication skills with good documentation skills, demonstrate proper initiative and sound judgment.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
    • Highly self-motivated and directed and ability to absorb and retain information quickly
    • Keen attention to detail
    • Ability to effectively prioritize, manage and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
    • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
    • Valid driver’s license and means of transportation
    • Provide other job-related duties as required
    • ISSO certified a plus
    • Must be a US Citizen.
    • Must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
