Logos Technologies, LLC (Logos) is searching for a motivated Electronics Engineer to develop high performance embedded computing (HPEC) architectures for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAS). As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will work with electrical and software engineers, as well as image scientists to design and implement FPGA based processing architectures for Wide Area Persistent Surveillance (WAPS) imagery and remote sensing applications. These processing architectures are designed to solve client problems associated with detection, tracking and classification of moving targets within WAPS imagery as well as the management and delivery of associated massive quantities of Full Motion Video over airborne and ground networks.

Designs and implements advanced processing FPGA–based architectures from conceptual design to VHDL implementation and both functional and timing verification. Works closely with software engineers and image scientists to implement advanced image processing algorithms and the associated high speed interfaces. Develops embedded software modules in C/C++ for soft and hard cores inside the FPGA. Works with other parallel architectures such as DSPs and GPUs as the need arises. Contributes to proposal idea formulation and writing. Develops technical documentation and reports. Ensures all existing processes are fully documented, suggesting improvements, updating documentation, and communicating all process changes to relevant stakeholders.
